Vakker Mat

Til denne oppgaven skulle vi presentere mat på en god måte. Jeg har valgt å presentere vaffler med is, jordbær og skjokoladesaus.

Dryppe, Drypp, Dropp

Vi har fått i oppgave å ta bilde av en dråpe eller flere dråper. Jeg har valgt å ta bildet av en dråpe akkuratt idet den treffer vannet.

Jeg hengte opp lilla silkepapir på veggen og la et gult ark under glasset for å skape en komplementærkontrast i bildet.

Camera Obscura

I dag lagde vi i Trykk og Foto vår egen Camera Obscura. Camera Obscura er en slags form for projeksjonsapparat. Vi dekket til vinduene i klasserommet med sorte lerret og bossposer for å unngå at det ble sluppet inn lys. Vi hadde papp med et hull i hvor lyset utenfra skulle komme gjennom. Vi hang opp et hvitt papir ikke langt unna hullet.

Today we made our own Camera Obscura in Print and Photography. Camera Obscura is a kind of projector. We covered the windows in our classroom with black screens and trash bags to avoid light from coming in. We had a cardboard paper with a hole in it where the light was going to come through. We hung a white screen not far from the hole.

Retusjeringsoppgave

Denne gangen var oppgaven å finne et gammelt bilde og redigere bort skrammer og slikt på bildet. Bildet jeg har valgt er et bilde fra enten 1959 eller 1960. Det ble tatt i Modalen av min morfar. De på bildet er min mormor og min mor.

This time our task was to find an old photograph and edit away damages and such from the picture. The photograph I've chosen is from either 1959 or 1960. The photograph was taken in Modalen by my grandfather. The ones in the picture are my grandmother and mother.

Alfabetet

Oppgaven vår var å lage en collage/montasje med "bokstaver" som har oppstått enten naturlig eller tilfeldig i naturen. Enten organisk  eller mekanisk.

Our task was to make a collage/montage with "letters" that have formed either naturally or by a random cause in nature. Either organic or mechanic.

I denne collagen har jeg valgt å blande naturens bokstaver sammen med bokstaver som er menneskeskapt. Dette er for å skape en spenning of uforutsigbarhet i den ellers forutsigbare komposisjonen. Jeg har valgt en ganske stram komposisjon, hvor jeg har 1 cm mellom alle bildene, med unntak av de to siste radene, hvor det ble mer. For å "dekke til" dette tomrommet har jeg valgt å ha en mørk bakgrunn hvor man kan skimte snødekket natur. For å ikke ha en helt symmetrisk og stram komposisjon, har jeg valgt å la den første bokstaven være større og ta opp mer plass rundt seg.

In this collage I've decided to mix the letters of the nature together with the ones created by humans. This is to create a tension and an unpredictable feeling in the otherwise predictable composition. I've chosen a very traditional composition, where I have 1 cm between every picture with the exception of the two last rows, where it increased. To "cover" this emptiness, I chose a dark background where one could also spot  snowy nature. To break a bit with the symmetrical composition, I decided to let the first letter be bigger and take more space.

Manipulasjonsoppgave "Store Vennlige Kjempe"

Vi fikk i oppgave å illustrere kapittelet "HVEM" fra boken "Store Vennlige Kjempe" av Roald Dahl. Vi skulle fokusere på kjempen i oppgaven. Jeg har tatt alle bildene selv og manipulert dem sammen i Photoshop CS6. Her er illustrasjonen:

Our task was to illustrate the chapter "WHO" from the book "Big Friendly Giant" by Roald Dahl. We were going to focus on the giant in the task. I took all the pictures myself and edited them together in Photoshop CS6. Here is the illustration:

Siden den snakker om månen i kapitellet, antok jeg at det var natt. Jeg har valgt å illustrere slutten av kapittelet: "Hun løp tvers gjennom sovesalen, hoppet ned i sengen sin og gjemte seg under teppet. Der lå hun, sammenkrøpet og stille som en mus, og skalv over hele kroppen." Jeg ønsket å få frem frykten som Sofie føler da kjempen kommer bort til hennes vindu. Lyset kommer fra kjempens lysende øye.

I assume it takes place during the night, since the book talks about the moon in the same chapter. I chose to illustrate the end of the chapter: "Sophie gave a yelp and pulled back from the window. She flew across the dormitory and jumped into her bed and hid under the blanket. And there she crouched, still as a mouse, and tingling all over." I wanted to show the fear Sophie feels when the giant approaches her window. The lightsource is from the giant's glowing eye.
